Goddess Luck was much too busy
too many craving her assistance
all of them with urgent needs
that's why she hid, masked as Mrs Poverty
no one recognized her, begging in the street
some just passed her by
maybe they even kicked or scolded her
others gave her a coin
most of them just turned their heads
ignoring the plight of the beggar they hunted for the goddess
Double-creature, beggar and goddess, she left
nothing of what she was to do was done
scolded, kicked and abused she turned into Mrs Evil
suddenly her duties were diminished
she found that to be evil is easy as people did it for her
to be good and bring luck means hard word
everybody wants to receive, not that many wants to give
Goddess Luck sat down and wept
most passed her by, confused by this outburst
no one gave her a hand to dry her tears
however, all of them begging her assistance
that's why she turned her back on them and left for good
now she is an almost invisible stars on the firmament
try to find her if you can ...
