a music for the cold at heart
Yes, Time the Robber brings havoc, ravishing your life
nothing stays the same, all of it dissolved and brought down
Time moulds you like clay, brings out new traits
calls this bag of bones "you"
assailing your youthful strength, your very life
what's worse, the Killer Time harvests those you love
they fall like so many leaves of grass on the slopes of life
the mower took them, stacked them, and left them
Time brings no solace, only forgetfulness
all of a sudden even your beloved turns into something forgotten
lurking in the shadows with other shadows he beckons you in vain
