Virgin-petals in a fresh, white rose are looking modest
not like the flashy orchid with petals like female genitalia
fleshy the orchid calls out to be touched and caressed
flashy in all its ways it out-petals little Miss White Rose
that is, if white roses are sincere
who is to know, what virgin-form is truly virginal and why care?
Petal for petal the flower life force multiply in the sun
sucks it in, basks in it, reaches for it, no modesty in either
both the white rose and the orchid lust for life
