Strong and giving in the land of the disrupted
patient and lovingly consoling where needed
Florence would do just that
compassion would be her key to wounded hearts
her advice would save lives
however, Florence was Florence, we are not
we may light lamps, but not like hers
the flickering flame was of lamps and soldiers alike
both was kept alive by her
some may have regretted it, invoking the Reaper
did she know that life isn't all?
she may have known it all, but willed it differently
