Darkness all over
as in the darkest of souls
one of those thriving in the Abyss
black upon black, a realm of shadows
set out to blot out the world
Engulfed in this darkness a light came alive
nothing but a flickering flame, but all alive
escaping the darkness it turned into a glimmering star
miles and miles away, safe and shiny
a cold light, basking in its own glamour
never once looking back and lighting up the darkness
- all in all an everyday tale of ordinary happenings
