In a tree
or a flower
life forces
unknown to humans
strong, resilient and secretive
all of them set for growth
living within the color of hope
Do plants hope?
Do they dream or love?
Maybe even hate?
Growing and shedding is what they do
juices travel in stems and leaves
even work against gravity
that's a flower
that's a plant
miracles in time and space
