Darkness is your sphere
you push your way through dark forests
darkened rooms hold no secrets to you
when darkness closes in on you, you glow
this is your triumph, your glowing in darkness
you don't blend in or is blotted out by it
no, you set it alight in dancing flames
this light in dark settings is you
but in light you turn totally invisible
nothing to be seen as you get blotted out

Some souls are like this
they bloom in perdition and adversity
the heavy burdens become them
and they drape themselves in bad luck
a cape for the few, but it becomes them

	Hi Darkness is always too much when it's chosen like this. Even though black is such a beautiful and striking color it also signals negativity of a certain kind. I often chose it for my clothes, but only with more sprightly colors so I'm not "draped" in it.	2010-02-05 01:00:00 Poet EC
