Why this terror?
Nothing wrong, only a tiny spook
Did it frighten you?
Why?
After all, it didn't do anything but sigh and moan
something you might do yourself
something you have done
something you will do again
or maybe you will keep it in?
Spooky ones, lining up in scenes of idyll
hidden in shadows, invisible in light
still, there they are, forming the wallpaper
turning scenes of idylls into legends of lost souls
