"No-no-no"
the question came last
"Do you love me?"
"Yes-yes-yes," the girl said
"Oh, I hope not," he said
"What?!" she yelled
"Well, I don't love you"
"Why did you ask me then?"
"Because ...."
"Why-why-why?"
"I wanted to make you stop it"
"Oh, how I hate you!"
"Good," he said, "don't stop it"
But so HE did, changing his mind
one day he said: "I love you"
"Don't," the girl said
"What, but you said ..."
"Stop it as I did; turn yes into no"
All his yes-es flickflacked into no-s
