To stand on the edge, there should be danger
to look down into shallowness, what a mistake
edge spells deep ravine, danger, daring and bravity
anything less than that spells flat country and safety
The danger-enwrapped heart ticks louder
enticing safety, beckoning the flat country to come
to spread out under its feet, groping for a foothold
soaring above all this is called daring and risky
Basking in danger, basking in safety may be the same
being met by lights when diving into the abyss
or being engulfed in blackness when soaring upwards
two worlds in one, both opening up to the brave spirit
