This I know: I draped my soul in my body
I put on rounded breasts and hips
my waspy waist and silky skin
my mouth and its secret, hungry twin
all that I put on to robe myself in flames
yes, flames dressed in blood and flesh
flames circling lines of beauty and pleasure
ready to sprout seduction
This I know: I draped my body in my soul
I sent fire through my entire frame
from toe to scalp it shot upwards
enlightening all that is mine
the fire climbed up my spine
dancing as it went, maybe even singing
I dressed it as best I could but it burnt through
This I know: My body melted and blended with my soul
