Today the weather shifted
coldness came suddenly, hugging us
it held me close as my heart froze
this red lantern of mine lost its shine
the darkness fell upon me
autumn sadness found its way back
this coldness in all limbs persists
I fold my heart into a replica of itself
but this image of an image doesn't beat
more like a showy show piece
doesn't delude anybody, least of all me
sadness rules me, being my autumn king
