Calamity, unbound rage
useless to stop fires, except within
this cost lives, nine in all
carried from the house in body bags
gone forever, ogled by bystanders
disappointment at the bags
sensational tragedies made private
Mr. and Ms Everyman don't like that
some poke the site of the fire
turning charred pieces of wood
hoping to find sensations of death
something for discussions when bored
all want more, more and more
The Grim Reaper in a cage
the fire itself in a bowl
and the pyromaniac back in the house
all of it action like in movies
