I sat by the ocean,
In the cusp of day.
Affected by emotions...
Don't know what to say.
I watch the waves roll in,
I watch the waves roll out.
That's the way it's been,
My tears are raining down.
I wonder why the clouds...
Are forming in the distance.
I want to cry out loud,
I'm looking for assistance.
But there's no other face,
Now I could cry for weeks.
Yet there's no other place...
As lovely as the beach.
