I was thinking about colours and how we see the world
through the sense of sight and the I thought about
how colours can mean things like red can mean rage or
or blue can mean sadness .
Some believe that green is envy ans white is purity .
With the colours of life many interpretations can be made .
During Christmas fror instance people say the
traditional colours are red and green .
But I thought I'd look deeper into Christmas and try to
create an image of the message behind Christmas .
Bringing together the story of Christmas with the gift it
brings . Peace and love for us all .
Pray for understanding to come
Each time and for everyone
An end to the hostility
Coloured as one in fragility
Enter compatibility .
Love is a colour see it glow .
Over all the earth let it flow .
Verdant and pleasant its splendour
Everybody needs its colour .
With some of these things in mind ,
there are other colours tha come to mind
like the nativity scene
Santa and the decorations and
again what Colour christmas ia all about .
The Colour Of Christmas
The colours of Christmas are seen ,
traditionally as red and green .
But what about the gift of gold
and violet for advent we hold .
White for the little Christmas flower
Silver the colour of the star .'
Yellow was the colour of hay .
And the sun that shone in the day
Forest Green is the Christmas tree .
Blue was the colour of her gown .
The donkey was the colour brown .
Cream colour the wool of the sheep ,
Reddish of the fire flames that leap .
A Gentle grey mist of the morn ,
Pink skin of the child that was born .
Then came the glitter and tinsel .
With multi coloured lights as well .
Red the colour of Santa's suit
Black the colour of his boot .
Of all the colours one stands out ,
Its what Christmas is all about .
Love and peace between black and white .
Love is the colour that's in sight .
Love is for us all rainbow .
Reflect a while and see it glow .
