The Best Things In Life Are Free : Spiritual Development

I used to keep my head down to the ground hiding my face so no one would see me cry .

I never knew what was best for me .
I was always down on myself , never knew why .
Most of the time I was my worst enemy ,
I wouldn't let love to get close to me .

Within I was lost with no place to go
then I surrendered to love that set me free .

Now I realise the best things in life are free .

The truth of it is that I love you .

I've discovered love and I feel alive
and it's clear to see what I put myself through .

The gift of love has rearranged how I feel .
I'm now able to keep my head held up high ever since I found out the best thing in life is free , I can look the world in the eye .

Love is alive in my heart and in my life everything else has fallen into place .
When I walk with you I am proud to show the world love is written all over my face .
