Yes , now as 2009 draws to a close ,
I look back but cannot change what has been .
Because I cannot change what happened ,
I place my hopes in what could be .
Here is what I dream .
I hope love can replace all the hurt and that people who hurt can learn to love again .
I promise myself not to make life more difficult than it should be and to avoid pain .
I will not be a slave to ignorance , or become a vessel for
those who laugh and scorn .
I will discover people who are nice and
positively become a person reborn .
I will continue to smile and try to encourage all those around me
to do the same.
Even when those around me are all going mad ,
l will be remain peacefully aloof and sane .
By not responding to negative things
I will change the world in small ways every day .
In 2010 I want it to be the best year I've ever had ,
in everyway .
