I have a lot of milestones that I'm taking along the way , so I can mark the steps I take in life , then look back to where I've been on the journey to new years day .
Then when the new year comes I'll find a road or two ,that may bring me friends and happiness and I'll bless my good fortune as I make my way along lifes straight and narrow way .
I will find a peaceful lake and sit for a while listening to
the gentle sounds of nature and hold someone's hand and
place a mile stone there to remember the day .
I will fall in love again and take my pen and write a love song .
I will sing and dance and hope that everyone
I meet will walk with me along the enchanted way .
Life is a wonderful thing and new years are the markers that show us how far we've come as each year passes us by .
Lets call it the steps in life along this earthly way .
If we look at those steps in a different way
as places of where we've been and what we've done .
We could place mile stones to every year that touch memories that make up today .
Sometimes when the pace of life gets hectic the walk of life can become more like a mad dash as we try to keep up with everything that happens from day to day .
The main thing is never to forget how special life is .
We need to look back at the end of each year and mark the things that have been and walk with hope into new years day .
I'm walking with hope to new years day with a smile on my face .
Nothing is going to break my stride .
I'll going to meet up with some beautiful people along the way .
