Remembering back when I was a child
The occasional times I'd get kind of wild
Like a monkey up a tree I would climb
Mama hollers get down, I pay her no mind
I can see for miles while in my tree tower
I smile and laugh with this wonderous power
I turn my head and look around
Can almost see the whole town
Before it's dark climb back down
There's Mama standing wearing a frown
I give her that sweet innocent look of a child
Soon Mama's frown turns into a big smile
