Pad pad silent paw pads across the floor
Totally unaware you open the bedroom door
Suddenly you scream out in fear
As the kitten pounces and bites your ear
Your scream makes the kitty run and hide
You're both trembling now on the inside
Suddenly the kitty's disappeared from sight
Was it real or just a halloween fright
