My outcast soul in rags raked over ashes
After that one glimpse of you it knows
My crucible of yearning overflows bitterness
To explain why now I must learn to live
Rising from suffocating soil plundered daily
My carbonized passion pressing heavily
Digging to diamonds in the dark !
In far distance hearing a voice
Ever whispering close and unseen
This grotto I tiptoe questions' continuum
"Feral Soul Come Unto Me
Take me Deeper unto Thee"
As nigh the twilight thickens unto night
And "Not Now" escapes these lips
I sigh
And finally ~~
Grasping your hand my heart beats warmly
Those frantic feral follies of our wonderment
Twisting around aspen hordes
Amid the pacing of fog-wrapped wraiths in forest gloom
Pregnant in this purple distance
One lighted window fire dancing
Beckoning us to plunge through uncharted snows
Gripping tighter to desires of turbid shivers heating
As frozen against the moon's glow
We seek the answer
"Is this the way to Glendalough?"
In far distance hearing a voice
Ever whispering close and unseen
This grotto I tiptoe question's continuum
"Feral Soul Come Unto Me
Take me Deeper unto Thee"
In creation's languishment of fountains falling
Even Angels thirst on that stone edge of ecstasy
Cry at casting reflections of green flora
Lightning striking rainbow eyes of elk and buffalo
To omens of amusement awaiting undercurrents !
In beds of Summer reciprocity awaits
As Love's ambrosia tempts the gaping mouth
Fissure freeing light in this tooth and claw duplicity !
Cementer of fragments bind us to sincerity and truth
Our blue sky's inhaled breath seeks new star-birth
Our two seismic souls shift
~~ My one true love ~~~
As we seek the answer
"Is this the way to Glendalough?"
