On a pink cloud on a stairway halfway to heaven
Seduced by unicorn schemes I find ways and means
Through my soul lens he appears beyond what I invent
A Prince on butterfly wings floating suns golden crown
Searing purity of air pillowed beneath his lady fair
Unlocks the ceiling of dreams there in naked thought
To find me laid out in languorous desire there
In daylight hour seeing right the love I sought
I capture him as I draw him into flowered fields
Appealing skin white as fine china earthenware
Angelica petals giving kisses head to heels
His endless soul wrapped with legs like vines
Flies like lightning between two stratospheres
One earthly as curves and bends in azure lines
The other spirit wings of his blue angel denizen
Of a pink cloud on a stairway halfway to heaven
